Time/current fuse curves 

These curves show the virtual fusion or pre-arcing time, as a function of the value of the symmetrical component of the intended current. 

Careful selection and design of fuse elements, together with meticulous industrial control, provides Schneider Electric customers with precise time-current curves, well above the tolerance limits provided for in standard IEC 60282-1. 

When designing our Fusarc CF fuses, we focused on a relatively high fusion current at 0.1 s in order to withstand transformer making currents and at the same time a low fusion current at 10 s in order to achieve quick breaking in the case of a fault. On page 21, we give the time/current characteristics of Fusarc CF fuses.
